Frequently Asked Questions

What are the Main Benefits of Batana Oil?

There are many benefits of Batana Oil. For Hair you can expect: Strengthening, Hair Growth, Scalp Health, Hydration and Shine. For Skin you can expect: Moisturization, Anti-Aging, Skin Repair, Protection, Natural Glow. There are many more benefits that you can read more here. There is a reason why many call us the Miracle Oil!

Where is it Made?

Real Batana oil is traditionally made in La Moskitia, Honduras. It is primarily found in areas where the American palm tree, scientifically known as Mauritia flexuosa, is native. These places are often swamps and wet areas. This is also where we source our oil from as well. We work daily in these areas to extract the Batana seeds that are used to make our oil.

Is it Safe?

Batana oil, when used as directed, is generally safe for most people. However, as with any natural product or cosmetic, there are considerations and potential side effects to be aware of. The biggest consideration is allergies. Thus before using Batana Babe on a larger area of your skin or hair, we recommend doing a patch test. A patch test can help identify any potential allergies or sensitivities.

Why is it considered Expensive?

Pure 100% Honduran Batana Oil is expensive due to how labor intensive and time consuming the harvest process is. The process involves harvesting the nuts, drying them, and cold pressing the kernels. This is all done manually by our team. After this process, we import the oil from Honduras to our workshop in the United States and individually fill each bottle and package it.

How Long Does It Take To Work?

The time it takes for Batana to show noticeable results can vary from person to person and depends on several factors, including the specific issues you are trying to address and how you use the oil. However, significant results may take longer, often several months to a year. Hair growth is a gradual process, and individual hair growth rates vary.
