Batana Oil Texture in Heat vs Cold

Batana oil is a natural, unrefined oil, so its texture changes with temperature. In cooler environments, batana oil solidifies into a firm, butter-like consistency. This is normal and does not affect its quality. To use it, simply warm a small amount between your palms or place the container in warm water until it softens.

In warmer temperatures, batana oil becomes liquid. This makes it easier to apply directly to the scalp and hair, but it can appear thinner than when solid. The change in texture is purely temperature-dependent and does not alter the oil’s effectiveness or nutrient profile.

At Batana Babe, we leave our oil in its natural state without additives, so you can expect these normal shifts in consistency depending on the season or your storage conditions.
