How Long Should You Keep Batana Oil In Your Hair Before Washing?

This is a common question that we get asked. How long should one keep batana oil on their scalp before washing? After all, if someone is washing their hair frequently it will dry the scalp and cause more issues such as dandruff from dry skin.

Let's tackle this question.

To get the best results, it's recommended to leave batana oil in your hair for at the very minimum 30 minutes to 2 hours before washing it out.

However, for deeper conditioning, you can leave it in for a longer period, even overnight. If you have sensitive skin or scalp, you might want to start with a shorter duration to see how your hair and skin respond. Here's a basic guide for using batana oil:

  1. For regular conditioning: Apply the oil to your hair, focusing on the ends, and leave it in for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  2. For intensive treatment: You can leave the oil in overnight, especially if your hair is very dry or damaged. Just make sure to cover your hair with a shower cap or towel to prevent it from staining your pillow.

Afterward, wash your hair thoroughly with a mild shampoo to remove the oil such as our Batana Shampoo
